As an optimistic, happy individual with an intention to sow seeds for a stron and able society, I took up teaching. As an educationist, with a belief in myself, I began my journey in 1992. I developed the skills to tailor-make teaching aids, got exposure to varied teaching skills and class management aspects.

In 2004, I joined Smt. Surajba Vidya Mandir. With my exceptional classroom management skills and passion to develop academic potential in the children, within a year I was promoted as the Primary Head and later as the English Secondary Head. My focus was on effective planning of teaching lessons using novel methodologies. Under my guidance, new learning strategies were implemented for efficient and holistic management of students’ intrinsic values. This had the adaptation of inclusive teaching methodology with an aim to enable and motivate weak students. As an educator, I strive to maintain a positive relation with my students, which makes them feel heard, seen and confident.

In my tenure of 15 years, I have always believed in innovation - be it in academics, co-curricular or extra-curriculars. This journey has been challenging yet interesting. Just to witness the children become responsible adults and strive to reach their goals is rewarding.
